Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Ahmedabad
Upon arrival at Ahmedabad, meet by driver and transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure or avail half day sightseeing on extra cost. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Ahmedabad Sightseeing
After breakfast, morning visit the Heritage Walk Visit, Sidi Saiyad Masjid, Swaminarayan Temple. Afternoon visit Gandhinagar – Akshardam Temples (30 Km one way). On the way back visit Adalaj Stepwell and return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Ahmedabad To Champaner
Proceed to Champaner an ancient fortified city. There are two stories about the origin of the name of this town. Some believe that is named after Champaraj who was the founder of the city, while others believe that the town was named after the champa tree that is found here. Visit Champaner Fort is an ancient fort located at the foothills of Pavagdh. Mohammed Begada (The famous Muslim King of Gujrat) captured the fort in 15th Centuary after a long siege against the Khichi Chauhan Rajputs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Champaner Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Jami Masjid – This mosque is a finest examples of the Sultanate architecture of Gujrat. It has two tall minarets of 30 meters height, 172 pillars and seven mihrabs (Prayer Hall). This mosque belongs to 1513 and took 125 years to build and has a wonderful carved entrance and imposing courtyard. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Champaner To Jambughoda
In the morning proceed to Jambughoda. Check in at the hotel. Later proceed to Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary.The sanctuary harbours several wild animals, birds and flora, including plants and herbs of medicinal value. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 6: Jambughoda - Ratan Mahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary - Jambughoda
Today proceed to Ratan Mahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary, the only exclusive sloth bear sanctuary in Gujarat. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Jambughoda To Ahmedabad Departure
Today visit Kada Dam and Jand Hanuman Temple. Later proceed to Ahmedabad for departure.
